Between 26 July 2021 and 15 December 2023, Hotellernet.com was a business ecosystem platform for the worldwide hospitality industry and their suppliers, leveraging social collaboration and hospitality ecommerce tech. While hospitality suppliers showed more interest and support, low collaboration engagement levels by hospitality professionals and hotel organizations that were in contrast with high self-esteem and proclaimed #togetherstrong messages on social media did not build up the balance of reciprocity needed to maintain the principles of an ecosystem. Overall, this situation led to the decision to suspend our activities for this industry.
